Sheet Music Sketch Study

This user study is meant to collect sketched sheet music shapes.

During the study, you will be asked to draw, in random order and with sample illustrations, 18 samples of simple shapes (whole note, half note, quarter note, eighth notes, staff), 4 samples of more complex drawings (involving several notes on a staff), and 1 sample of whatever music-related sketch you would like a computer to be able to recognize.


Once the applet loads, simply enter in the requested information and perform the study.
After drawing the requested shape, press the "Save" button.
When done, the applet window will close automatically. Please do not close it until you have completed the study (or else the data you gave will be lost). Thank you for your participation!
